TravelRiskWatch Privacy Policy
TravelRiskWatch provides traveler-focused situational awareness using public travel advisories, public news feeds, open-source reporting, and related risk signals. The app is not an official government service and does not replace official travel guidance.
Information You Provide
The core dashboard does not require an account, login, password, payment, or profile. If you contact TravelRiskWatch by email, the email address and message content you send may be used to reply to your request.
Information Stored On Your Device
The app may store saved alerts, saved countries, offline cached alert snapshots, and recent scan timing on your device. This helps the app reopen faster and lets you review saved items. Removing the app, clearing browser data, or clearing site storage may delete these saved items.
Public Feed And App Requests
When you use the dashboard, the app may request public-source data from TravelRiskWatch services and public providers so it can display alerts, country guidance, map information, and open-source signal summaries. These requests may include the country name or search topic needed to answer the request.
AI-Assisted Reports And Service Providers
When you request an intelligence report, TravelRiskWatch services process the selected country and collected public-source evidence. An AI provider may receive that country and evidence to organize the report. Reports can be cached and shared with other users requesting the same country. Do not include personal or sensitive information in country searches or support messages that you do not want processed.
Service providers include Cloudflare for backend hosting and Groq for country-report generation. Map tiles and linked information may be supplied by OpenStreetMap and other public-source providers. Connecting to these services sends ordinary connection information, such as your IP address and request metadata, to the service receiving the request. Opening an external source link takes you to that provider's own service and privacy policy.
Analytics
The dashboard includes Google Analytics to understand visits, page views, app usage, and reliability. When loaded, Google Analytics can process device/browser and usage information and use browser storage or identifiers. It may derive approximate location, such as city or country, from connection information. The app does not request GPS location permission. These analytics help us understand usage and whether pages and feeds are working. See Google's Privacy Policy.
No Sale Of Personal Information
TravelRiskWatch does not sell personal information.
